Riot Games is working on a secret new project called League of Legends: Supremacy and has yet to officially announce anything about it.
What is known is that Riot Games privately acquired the premium domain name Supremacy.com in April, but how much did it pay for the name?
That’s a question many are likely to be asking.
According to the Domain Sales History tool, supremacy.com publicly sold in 2008 for a mere $3,000. It then appears ownership changed hands, before finally being put up for sale by Domain Asset Holdings for $25,000 on the domain marketplace site Sedo (screenshot below).
While the sale price has not been revealed, I have reached out to the previous owners for comment and will update this post if I hear back.

In other related news: Sedo reported the sale this week of Supremacy.org for $3,000.
If you’re wondering whether Riot Games is the owner… they are. According to Whois records, the name was privately acquired by MarkMonitor on behalf of Riot Games.
